I set out on an information design quest;
I wanted to illustrate the Wingspans and Weights of different birds.

I designed two pieces; intractable with its audiences.
I thought that for such pieces of information such as weight and length, physically seeing or feeling it in its literal form would help the audience understand it far more than just seeing numeric information on paper.

I took this realisation literally by designing a set of posters to promote sunny day's as if they were a real event, with event imformation on the back.

A set of 3 double sided posters with information about the weather ahead. The posters were designed to be part of a newspaper supplement and can also be made into 3, 7 or 10 day forecasts.

I wanted the posters to be informative of the relevant information, but also visually appealing. Best of both worlds.

Bird Collective

This booklet is designed to promote an all female design collective. It holds members CV's and contact details. The concept for the booklet was taken from the fact that as an all female collective they can be referred to as 'birds'. Each designer is represented by a different bird. The collective as a whole; Bird.

The first poster illustrates different bird species wingspan (average smallest and largest). This when printed is to scale, so the audience can get a sense of the wingspan with ease.

The second poster illustrates the average shortest and longest migration distances between several bird species.
